✨ Do you know about Light of the year?

Image
The Divine Light of Ramadhan   Behold the crescent, silver-bright, A lantern lit in heaven’s height. A sign from Allah, pure and true, To guide the hearts of me and you.  Ramadhan dawns, a sacred call, A month where veils of heedless fall. The soul, like embers, starts to glow, Refined by hunger’s silent woe.  The body thirsts, the spirit soars, As longing knocks on mercy’s doors. Each fast—a step, a climb, a light, Ascending hearts to loftier heights.  “O you who have believed, fasting is for you,” (2:183) A call to cleanse, to strive anew. To cast aside what weighs you down, And seek His love—life’s golden crown.  In fasting’s hush, the soul finds peace, As worldly whispers slowly cease. The heart beats soft, the mind is clear, While Ramadhan’s light draws ever near.  From chains of sin, the soul takes flight, In patience forged through trial’s night. Each hunger pang, a whispered prayer, That lifts the heart through skies of air.  Through fasti...

"What are your goals in this Ramadhan?"

Planning Our Goals for Ramadhan Using the SMART Approach.   The Importance of Intentionality in Ramadhan Ramadhan is a month of mercy, transformation, and divine closeness . Yet, many Muslims enter it with enthusiasm but without a structured plan, leading to burnout, inconsistency, or regret after Eid.   To make the most of this blessed month , we need to set SMART goals—Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound.   My Lesson from Past Ramadhans . I remember a past Ramadhan where I had big ambitions —finishing the Quran, praying every night in tahajjud, and giving in charity daily. But halfway through the month, I struggled. My lack of structured planning led to missed opportunities. I was busy, overwhelmed, and felt guilty. That’s when I realized: intentions must be coupled with a realistic and strategic plan.   The Prophet ﷺ taught us: "The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are consistent, even if small." (Sahih Bukhari) This wi...

"What is the value of money in your opinion ?"

Why Is Money the Power in Islam? Introduction Money is often seen as a tool for worldly success, but in Islam, it holds a deeper significance. It is not just a means of survival but a powerful force that shapes the Ummah, strengthens faith, and spreads goodness. Islam does not reject wealth but rather teaches how to earn, manage, and use it in a way that benefits both this world ( Dunya ) and the hereafter ( Akhirah ). The power of money in Islam lies in its potential for positive impact —from personal self-sufficiency to global leadership, from charity to economic strength, and from community development to Dawah. A wealthy Muslim with the right intentions can be a source of strength for the Ummah and a key player in the revival of Islamic civilization. 1. The Islamic Perspective on Wealth Wealth is a test, a blessing, and a responsibility . Allah reminds us: “Do not forget your portion of this world and do good as Allah has done good to you.” (Surah Al-Qasas 28:77) T...

Have The Time Not Reached Yet ?

Surah Al-Hadid (57:16).   أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنْ تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ أُوْتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمْ الْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ "Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should be humbled by the remembrance of Allah and what has come down of the truth, and that they should not be like those who were given the Scripture before them, and time passed over them, and so their hearts hardened? And many of them are defiantly disobedient." Explanation: This verse is a powerful reminder for the believers, urging them to reflect on their relationship with Allah and the impact of His guidance on their hearts.  Let’s break it down for a deeper understanding: "Has the time not come for those who have believed..." The verse begins by addressing the believers (those who have faith in Allah). The question p...

How can a person find Inner peace?

Overcoming Inner Struggles for a Tranquil Heart  and  Mind. Introduction In a world where stress, anxiety, and negativity dominate our lives, is there a way to find lasting inner peace? Many people struggle with emotions like anger, jealousy, arrogance, and despair, yet few understand how to truly overcome them. While modern self-help techniques offer temporary relief, Islam presents a timeless and holistic solution: Tazkiyah, the purification of the heart. Derived from the Arabic root زكى (zaka), meaning purification and growth, Tazkiyah is the process of cleansing the soul from harmful traits and nurturing it with virtues like sincerity, patience, and humility. It is an internal jihad (struggle) that shapes one’s character, relationships, and connection with the Divine. The Significance of Tazkiyah The Quran emphasizes that true success lies in self-purification: "He has succeeded who purifies it (the soul), and he has failed who instills it with corruption." (Quran 91...

Which Door Will You Choose ?

The Door to True Success: A Lesson from Imam Al-Bukhari & H.G. Wells.   The Door in the Wall: Reflection on Material Success and Spiritual Enlightenment H.G. Wells’ short story The Door in the Wall presents a tragic narrative of Lionel Wallace, a  man, who spends his life chasing worldly success while ignoring a mysterious door leading to true fulfilment—a paradise-like garden. Every time the door appears, he delays entering,  prioritizing his career and social status. When he finally decides to embrace the door, it is too  late. His story is a warning: chasing material success at the cost of spiritual enlightenment  leads only to regret. Wallace vs. Imam Al-Bukhari: A Tale of Two Doors Imam Al-Bukhari, one of Islam’s greatest scholars, made the opposite choice. Born in 810 CE  in Bukhara, he had access to wealth and comfort but chose the difficult road of knowledge and  faith. He travelled extensively, memorized over 600,000 hadith, and ded...
